Obituary
Passed away peacefully at the age of 70 on January 1, 2021 after a 6 month battle with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her husband, Robert; son, Michael (Tami) Ardieta; brother, Edward (Laurie) Adams; grandson, Anson Ardieta; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Sharon earned her BSW at SUNY Brockport and her MSW at the University of Buffalo. Sharon first worked as a caseworker at Mary Cariola Children's Center and finally as a Certified Social Worker at Finger Lakes DDSO dedicated to the advocacy and wellness of the developmentally disabled population.
The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Lipson Cancer Center, first responders, and the emergency staff at Unity.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be no service or calling hours. Sharon will be cremated and laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery. Later when we can all gather, there will be a celebration of her life.
