Toni R. Gerstner

Toni R. Gerstner, born on September 30, 1964, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt who left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.

Toni is survived by her devoted mother, Dorothy; her brother, Mark; and her sister, Beth (Mike) Reagan. She also cherished aunt to her nieces, Tia (Mikaya), Jessica (Francesca) Maggi, Aubrey (Mike) Pelin, and Lexie Salamone, as well as her great nephews, Lucca and Aldo Maggi. The warmth of her family was a source of endless joy in her life.

Toni’s spirit touched the lives of many, and her kindness will be remembered long after her passing. Throughout her years, Toni touched the hearts of many, including organizations such as the Arc of Monroe, Holy Childhood, Special Olympics, and Catholic Charities.

Toni was predeceased by her father, Thomas, and her nephew, Slade, who were dearly missed and will forever hold a place in her family’s hearts.

A visitation will be held on October 7, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Thomas Funeral Chapels, located at 4545 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612. A funeral service will take place the following day, October 8, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Holy Cross Church, located at 4492 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY 14612, concluding at 11:30 AM.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the nursing and medical staff at Unity, especially those in units 4200 and 2100, for their loving care and support during Toni’s final days.

Toni R. Gerstner will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
