Rochester

Terrence J. Amann, a cherished soul, was born on November 15, 1954, in the vibrant community of Rochester, NY. A beloved father and grandfather, devoted partner, and friend. He graced this world with his presence until July 25, 2025, when he departed, leaving behind a legacy marked by love, laughter, and countless cherished memories

A retiree of North Creek Woodworks, Terrence dedicated much of his life to his work, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Outside of work, he was a man of diverse passions. His heart raced for the thrill of Nascar, and he often spent joyful afternoons enjoying a cold beer, reminiscing about his beloved Yankees and their glorious moments on the baseball field.

Terrence is survived by his loving companion of 44 years, Sandra Bettis, whose unwavering support and companionship brought warmth and joy into his life. He was a devoted stepfather to Chris Hann and a proud step-grandfather to Zackkery Hann, who brought him endless delight. He is also survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Mosley of South Carolina and Cathy Amann of Indiana, along with his brother, Steven Bridges of South Carolina. The bonds he shared with his many nieces and nephews were filled with affection and joy, and they will always remember him fondly for the light he brought into their lives.

Though his parents, Thomas and Lois, have passed on, along with his brothers Joe and Jerry, and sister Jodi, Terrence’s spirit will forever resonate within the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His love transcended the physical plane, extending to the numerous friends and relatives who formed an integral part of his life's tapestry.

In a world that often seemed busy and chaotic, Terrence had a remarkable ability to carve out moments of genuine connection and joy. He will be deeply missed, yet his memory will live on through the stories shared by those who loved him dearly. As we remember Terrence J. Amann, let us celebrate the moments of laughter, the bonds of family, and the joy of companionship that defined his life.
