Steven A. Murray

Steven A. Murray, passed away on April 9, 2026, at the age of 45. Born in Rochester, New York, on August 18, 1980, Steve lived a life marked by dedication, warmth, and an enduring commitment to his family and community.

Steve is survived by his loving parents, Steven L. and Patricia "Trish" Murray, who provided unwavering support and encouragement throughout his life. He is also survived by his sister, Jeana Murray, and his brother, Kyle Murray, along with Kyle’s wife, Amber. Their close-knit family shared many cherished moments together, and Steve was a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews—Andrew, Addison, Emerly, and Ryan—who held a special place in his heart.

Additionally, Steve’s passing leaves a void among numerous relatives and friends who valued his friendship and kindness.

Steve was predeceased by his grandparents, whose memories he held dear.

A visitation will be held on  Saturday April 18, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Chapels, located at 4545 Lake Avenue, Rochester, New York, 14612. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life ceremony will take place from 4:00 p.m. at the same location, providing an opportunity for family, friends, and community members to honor Steve's life and legacy, through words of remembrance

Throughout his 45 years, Steve’s presence enriched the lives of those around him. His family invites all who knew him to join in remembering his remarkable life during these services.

Steven A. Murray’s memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege to know him. His legacy endures through his family and the many lives he touched.
