Patrick S. Donohue Sr. of Sheldon NY passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2026 at the age of 52. He was born on November 2, 1973 to the late Robert and the late Theresa (Mulligan) Donohue.


Patrick is survived by his wife Leanne (Wellington) Donohue and his children: Ryley Kate, Patrick Shawn Jr., Blake Andrew, and Megan Elizabeth Donohue.


He is also survived by his siblings: Robert (Teresa) Donohue, Kelley (Glenn) Hacker, and Timothy (Shannon) Donohue. Patrick also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.


Pat will be remembered for his love of spending time at Rushford Lake with family and friends. He enjoyed hunting with his children and nephews and cherished the time they shared together. Pat had an easy going nature and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He was known for his great sense of humor and his ability to make those around him laugh. Pat was a proud member of U.A. Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 22 and took great pride in his Irish roots.


His legacy lives on through his family, who will carry forward the love and values he shared with them.


Family and friends are invited to Patrick’s Celebration of Life on June 20, 2026 from 12pm - 4pm at the North Java Fire Hall, 4274 Route 98, North Java NY 14113. Prayer service will begin at 1:30pm.
