Michael P. Franklin

Michael P. Franklin, born on August 15, 1969, passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2025. His departure has left a profound void in the hearts of his family and friends. He is remembered for his unwavering spirit, warmth, and the love he shared with those around him.

Michael is survived by his beloved children: Josiah, Ruth, and Michael Jr. (their mother, Tammy). He also leaves behind his brothers, Brian Franklin and Charles Franklin and his wife Alana, and his sister, Lisa Bonfiglio. The joy of his life was further exemplified through his affection for his several nieces and nephews, all of whom cherished their time with him.

He was preceded in death by his dear parents, Robert and Rose Marie Franklin, whose love and guidance shaped his life. Michael also mourned the loss of his sister, Lorrie Martins, and his brother, Robert Franklin, who, along with his parents, will be remembered with enduring love.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation, which will be held on May 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, followed by a prayer service at 6:30 PM at Thomas Funeral Chapels, located at 4545 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612.

Michael's legacy is one of love, resilience, and family commitment, and he will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
