Michael L. Barr

August 4, 1966 - February 17, 2026

Michael was born in Rochester, NY to Ruth Ann and Elijah Barr. He graduated from Franklin High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. Later he earned an A.A.S. Degree in Accounting from the Rochester Business institute, and enjoyed a long career with two manufacturing companies.

He was a loving, proud, and devoted father to his two boys. Always laughing and cuttin'-up, Michael made friends with everyone he met. We always had the best time with Michael at BBQ's, family reunions, and at the card table. Michael always brought the joy and fun.

Michael was predeceased by his Father, Mother, and many friends and family that he dearly missed. He is survived by his sons Elijah and Koren, and their wives Danika and Lin; his brother Eric and his four grandchildren.

Friends and Family will celebrate Michael's life at the Lake Riley Lodge at Cobbs Hill in Rochester, NY August 30th, 2026 between 1pm - 5pm. There will be some food and drinks provided, but feel to bring a dish to share.

Many thanks to all who supported Michael throughout his life, and a special thank you to all the people who helped him at the Monroe Community Hospital Nursing Home. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
