Herbert Anderson

Marion NY: September 20, 2022 at age 86. He was born December 23, 1935 in Georgetown County, South Carolina to the late Morgan & Mattie Bell Anderson. Herbert graduated from Rosemary High School Class of 1957. After high school he moved to New York City; and later moved to Rochester NY, where he worked & later retired from Rochester Regional Transit Service. There at RTS he met Dawn Carpenter Anderson . They married in 1990 in Sodus NY.

     He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Dawn (Carpenter); son, Anthony "Tony" Anderson (Alty); daughter, Monique Williams; brother, Levi (Irene) Anderson of Rochester NY; sisters, Ora V. Crosien of Georgetown SC, Earnestine Hardin of New York NY, Wendy (MacArthur) Davis of Pawleys Island SC; niece Christi; several grandchildren & great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.

     In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his former wife, Alberta Burnside Anderson; four brothers, James (Zena Mae) Anderson, Johnny (Letha Mae) Anderson, Willie (Mary) Anderson, Abraham Anderson; two sisters, Ruth Darby, Para Lee (Michael) Hardaway.
