Hannelore Drewel
Rochester: Passed away at the age of 92 on 9/20/2018 after a long struggle with dementia.
Despite a declining memory, Hannelore clearly loved her family until the very end. Her entire life had been dedicated to caring for her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Gerhard Drewel. Lovingly remembered by daughter Karola Jones, son Curt (Ann) Drewel, granddaughters Laura (Brian) Jones and Emily (Spenser) Nehrt, grandson Eric Drewel, great-grandsons Ellery and West Hoffman, brother Hugo (Ursula) Huedepohl, and nieces and nephews.
There will be a private gathering to celebrate her life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the URMC Alzheimers research Forget-Me-Not Fundor the Rochester Regional Foundations Adult Day Care Services Fund.
