Giuseppina Impallaria

Giuseppina (Pina) Impallaria entered the Gates of Heaven and her loving husband Vincenzo's arms on August 15, 2026. 

Pina was a "woman of the world" having been born in Lascari, Sicily also living in Germany for a time. She married her beloved Vincenzo in 1967, but she remained in Sicily for a year while Vincenzo prepared their new life in the UnitedStates. Vincent and Pina settled in New Jersey where they had their 2 boys.

They moved to Rochester NY, where they both were employed at Kodak. After she retired, she became a homemaker first class! Her house was always immaculate, and you could barely get the last bite of food in your mouth before your plate was being washed, and your place at the table wiped with the ever present "strofinaccio" (dishcloth)!

Pina was always smiling and always made everyone feel welcome. The smells from her kitchen alone would cause you to gain two pounds. No one ever left her house hungry. (And if Vinny opened up a bottle of his homemade wine, you would be pretty happy when you left!!)

Pina was a deeply spiritual woman with undying devotion to Padre Pio, St. Joseph, and the Blessed Virgin Mary.

She was pre-deceased by her loving husband Vincenzo, her parents Antonino and Antonina Gugliuzza, and her sister Rosa Grasso.

She is survived by her sister Antonina Ilardo of Italy, her son Anthony Impallaria, son and daughter-in-law Charles and Kim Impallaria, and her grandchildren Matthew and Makayla Impallaria, many nieces and nephews, and many friends.
