Gayle A. Bradbury (nee DeJoy)

April 19, 1939- October 20, 2026. Age 87

Lovingly known as Mom, Grandma Gayle, Mema, and Poobah.

Mom passed away unexpectantly but peacefully. As per her request, there will be no calling hours and services will be private and at the discretion of her family.

She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Maybelle DeJoy; brother, Joseph DeJoy Jr; and her sister, Kathleen DeJoy.

She is survived by her brother, Richard DeJoy; daughter, LeeAnn (Pat) Thompson; son, Mark Bradbury; daughter in law, Tamera Bradbury; and her grandchildren, Vanessa (Sean) Downey, John Caley, Laura (Brad) Rowell, Andrew Bradbury, and Coutrney Bradbury.

She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Rowan Downey, Louise Rowell, and Van Rowell.

She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mom was a retiree from Kodak, as well as Unity Hospital, where she continued to volunteer 1 day a week.

Mom enjoyed her time with her family and friends, traveling, cards, and winning at the casinos.

Her family loved her greatly and can’t imagine a world without her support, strength, kindness, and sense of humor.
