Florence M. Turpin, a devoted homemaker and mother, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on January 23, 1933, in Rochester, NY, she spent her life joyfully nurturing her family and creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Florence is survived by her loving daughters, Grace Turpin, Sandra (Willis) Curtis, Barbara Turpin, and Patricia Turpin. She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren and delighted in her numerous great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her warm presence and loving spirit. Florence also leaves behind many relatives and friends whose lives she touched with her kindness.

In her spare time, Florence found joy in a variety of hobbies. She was an avid crocheter and took great pleasure in tending to her garden, particularly cherishing her lilac bush. A familiar face at Holy Cross bingo nights, she embraced her community with enthusiasm and shared her love for travel whenever she could.

Florence was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Morley Turpin; her daughter, Linda Robinson; and her father, James Penna. Her legacy of love and family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Thomas Funeral Chapels, located at 4545 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY, 14612. Following the visitation, a Prayer Service will take place from 2:00 PM at the same location.

Florence M. Turpin will be remembered for her loving nature, her devotion to her family, and the vibrant spirit she brought to all aspects of her life.
