Emilia Corbelli

Emilia Corbelli, born on November 18, 1962, in Italy, passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2025, in Rochester, NY. Her sudden departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her.

Emilia was a cherished daughter, devoted sister, and beloved mother. She is survived by her daughter, Martina (David) Moss, her father, Vincenzo "Jimmy" Corbelli, and her siblings, Rita (Lance) Reuter and Pina Orden. Emilia was also a treasured aunt to her nieces and nephews, and her warm spirit will be remembered by all her relatives and friends who were fortunate to be part of her life.

Emilia's mother, Palmira Corbelli, predeceased her, leaving behind a legacy that Emilia honored and cherished throughout her life. As we gather to celebrate Emilia's life, we remember not only her steadfast love for her family but also her vibrant presence that brought joy and warmth to those around her. She will be profoundly missed but lovingly remembered in the hearts and stories of her family and friends.

Emilia, had a kind heart and a strong spirit. She experienced many challenges in life and always remained strong in her faith. Her family finds comfort in believing she is now free from pain, and no longer fighting the battles that weighed so heavily on her. Before her passing, she was able to reconnect with her daughter which brought her comfort and happiness. She is remembered with love and is now reunited with her mother who she cherished so deeply and her beloved cat "Evy".

The community is invited to join in remembering Emilia during a visitation at Thomas Funeral Chapels, located at 4545 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY, 14612, on Monday December 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM. Following the visitation, a prayer service will be held at the same location at 12:30 PM. A private interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
