Honeoye Falls NY: Passed away Sunday July 15, 2018, after a long courageous battle; surrounded by her loving family. Sue E. Miller was born on April 1, 1946 in Malone NY. She grew up in Auburn, NY and graduated from Auburn High School and from Geneva General Hospital Nursing School where she received her Nursing degree. She was employed at Rochester General hospital for over 35 years where she enjoyed working as an Emergency Room Nurse. Sue was loved by all her co-workers with many staying friends with her up to the end. Sue worked for plastic surgeons Dr. Joseph Kepes and Dr. Fred Von Kessel for several year as well. In her younger years she volunteered as a nurse in the Adirondack\'s Youth Camps.
Her biggest enjoyment in life was her \"Idle Hour Shelties\" who she shared with her life partner, Mona Hartwig, who preceeded her. They traveled many place and had numerous award winning dogs earning \"best in show\" & \"best of breed\". She was a life member of the ASSA and was working toward becoming a judge before her illness.
She also enjoyed traveling, camping, photography, skiing, bowling, being out in nature and fishing \"her biggest catch were tree branches\".
She is predecedased by her parents Pearl Arquiette Dodge and Richard \"Dick\" Dodge; sister, Jeanne La Mountain, \"Buckie\" La Mountain; brothers, John \"Jack\" Arquiette, Richard \"Dick\" Arquiette; and special brother in law George Staples.
Susie is survived by and was taken care of by her devoted loving sister and best friend, Bonnie Staples; brother, Donald (Joan) Arquiette; special nieces, Michele \"Shelly\" (Peter) Haluska, Brenda (Jim) Spinner, Kellie (Glenn) Tavernia, Mary (Dan) Stavisky; special nephews, Christopher (Angie) Wawrzaszek, Danny (Jackie) Arquiette; also many other nieces and nephews that she loved.
Sue was the glue that always kept the family together. the family will sure miss her art of converasation. All who knew her, knew \"not to get on her bad side\"...LOLSue will be remembered as a \"Loving, Compassionate, Funny and a Generous person\". She always ended with I love you more...so Aunt Susie...\"We Love you More\".
A memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
