Our warrior Liz fought a courageous battle. She passed on January 26, 2022 surrounded by her family at home. Predeceased by her Parents, James and Dorothy (Ferraraccio) Bracken; Brothers, Paul (Bonnie), James (Alice), and Richard; Sister, Rosemary (George) Pringle; Aunts, Cecilia (Bracken) Kellar and Helen ( Ferraraccio) Panepinto; and several aunts and uncles. Survived by Sisters, Margaret (Mark) Cutler, Dorothy Bracken, and Theresa (Scott) Best; Nieces, Valerie Holberton, Maria Cutler, Morgan Bracken; Nephews, Frank Holberton, Jamie (Mollie), Joshua (Kaitlin), Timothy (and their mother Joanne Bracken), Mario (Dulce) Sanchez; Joshua (Kathleen) Sanchez. Many Bracken and the Ferraraccio cousins. Special admiration for cousin Anna Marcoccia-Robertson. Life long family friends: special admiration for Mary (McKeown) Velard, Greg Lewis, Francis Shattuck. A host of long time friends with special admiration for BFF Anne Villaini, Susan Norwood, Beth (Amy) Sheldon, Colleen Hughes and Deb Martin. Too many others to mention.

Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Liz's sense of humor made her the highlight of any party. She adored all the children in her family and earned the nickname "baby whisperer" because of the immediate bond and soothing ability she had with babies. She cared for many children as a daycare provider and could often be found wrestling on the floor or running around the house playing games with the kids.

Liz was a caring and generous person. She would come to the aid of anyone who needed help and do all she could to make them feel better. Liz worked for several years as a home health aide through C.D.R.(Center for Disability Rights). She championed the fight for equal rights with the local chapter of A.D.A.P.T.(American Disabled for Attendant Programs Today).

She spent her spare time enjoying many nature walks and visiting with family and friends. She enjoyed shooting pool and won several tournaments. She also loved playing softball, camping, fishing, gardening and yearly vacations with her sisters and Aunt Fran in the Adirondacks.

Liz's family would like to acknowledge all the attendants from Blossom Modern Home Care Solutions and thank them for their dedication and compassion.

We would also like to thank Alex and Zeneida Rojas from A and Z transportation for their caring services and professionalism.
