Rochester:Beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and loving friend to so many, passed away on October 16, 2017 at the age of 91.

Born in Rochester, New York, on November 18, 1925, she spent her entire career as a nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital and the University of Rochester Health Service, caring for others, and never stopped caring and loving to her last day.

She is survived by her son, James Andrews; daughter, Andrea Andrews-Cott; son-in-law, Martin Cott; brother, James Percas; and granddaughters, Dana and Laura Cott. She is predeceased by her husband, Alexander, the love of her life. Bess will be fondly and lovingly remembered by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless dear friends.

Visitation will be at Thomas Friday, October 20, 2017, between the hours of 4 PM and 8 PM. The service will be at 10 AM on Saturday, at Thomas followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Bess prayed to the Blessed Mother every day, and she is now in Her loving arms.
